A Sweet Read: The Sour Aftertaste of Olive Lemon

For those how may not have heard:

The chapbook, The Sour Aftertaste of Olive Lemon by Catherine J. Gardner, is now available for purchase at Bucket 'O' Guts for $6 incl shipping & handling in the US (payable via paypal). If you live outside the U.S. you can email Nate Lambert at bogpress@gmail.com and he'll get back to you with the price including shipping & handling.

And on the cottage hunt scene...we just returned from Conception Bay North in the continuing saga of finding a cottage. The frontrunner is now a small place with a killer view of the ocean, next to a cemetery. Cool! Things are getting interesting.

Next to a cemetery, cool! Lots of story ideas with that one. :)

Was there a stately crow eying you from atop the cemetery gate? If so, pictures please!

I'd love a place by the ocean. That cottage sounds like a keeper.

Thanks for the pimpage.

Conception Bay? Is that a Canadian version of Makeout Point?

Whenever someone talks about a cottage by water, I envision the place where the two kidnapped holed up in Fargo. Hope the place doesn't have a wood chipper out back, Alan. ;)

KC - I had exactly the same thought...

Natalie - No stately crow, but lots of seagulls in the distance.

Cate - Yep, got to be the ocean. The cemetery and cliffs had me thinking of visiting my cousin near Middlesbrough. We went for a drive to the ocean in Whitby. No where near as creepy as the cemetery there, sticking out into the sea.

Anton - The name may have more of a religious significance. I think 'makeout point' in North America is often refered to as going to the submarine races.

KC - Ha! I think that you should give up that SF stuff and go strictly with horror! The cemetery makes it creepy enough, the wood chipper would be too much.
